Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor the timely dispatch and delivery of shipments, ensuring adherence to schedules and deadlines.
- Prepare, verify, and process a variety of shipping documents, including bills of lading, airway bills, packing lists, and commercial invoices.
- Communicate effectively with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and internal departments to facilitate smooth shipping operations.
- Track and trace shipments, providing regular updates to relevant stakeholders on status and potential delays.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipping activities, documentation, and communications within the company's systems.
- Utilize and maintain proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and specialized shipping software for data entry, reporting, and process management.
- Assist in resolving shipping discrepancies, damages, and delays efficiently and proactively.
- Support inventory management processes related to incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring accuracy and proper handling.
Qualifications
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates with a strong interest in logistics or candidates with 1-2 years of experience in a shipping or warehouse environment are welcome.
- Proven proficiency in ERP systems, shipping software, and relevant IT tools is a significant advantage.
- Strong organizational skills with an exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize work effectively, and perform under pressure in a dynamic environment.
