Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for new and existing software applications.
- Identify, document, and verify bugs and defects using JIRA or similar tracking tools.
- Conduct manual and automated testing to validate software functionality and performance.
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Perform regression testing to ensure recent changes do not negatively impact existing features.
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups and sprint planning.
- Stay updated with the latest testing tools and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Quality Assurance methodologies.
- Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new testing tools and technologies.
