As a Junior System Engineer, you will gain hands-on experience in server management, virtualization technologies, and data backup solutions. You will work closely with senior engineers to ensure system stability and provide essential technical support to our employees, both onsite and remotely. Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows and Linux server environments to ensure high availability.
- Configure and manage virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) for testing and production workloads.
- Oversee and optimize backup strategies to guarantee data integrity and disaster recovery.
- Provide first-level technical support to internal users via phone, email, or remote access tools.
- Perform routine system health checks, updates, and patch management.
- Assist in network troubleshooting and connectivity issues.
- Document system configurations, processes, and technical procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Fresh graduates are welcomed).
- Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows Server, Linux/Unix) and networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies and backup solutions is a strong plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical staff.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing business needs.
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) are an advantage.
