Eurovista Technology Sdn Bhd is looking for a motivated Laser Cut Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team in Batu Kawan, Penang. In this role you will operate state‑of‑the‑art CNC laser cutting equipment, producing high‑precision components for a variety of industries while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards.
You will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating laser cutting machines, performing routine maintenance, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. Working closely with the engineering and production teams, you will interpret technical drawings, ensure tolerances are met, and optimize production processes to meet tight deadlines.

- Set up, program, and operate CNC laser cutting machines for metal and non‑metal materials.
- Perform daily preventive maintenance and calibration to ensure optimal machine performance.
- Inspect finished parts for quality, dimensions, and conformance to specifications.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and CAD files.
- Troubleshoot machine faults and coordinate repairs with the maintenance team.
- Maintain accurate production logs, tally sheets, and cycle‑time records.
- Follow safety protocols, 5S standards, and housekeeping guidelines.
- Collaborate with design and process engineers to improve workflow efficiency.
Responsibilities

- Conduct routine maintenance and calibration to maintain machine performance.
- Perform quality inspections on finished parts, ensuring compliance with tolerances.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD files.
- Diagnose and resolve machine malfunctions, coordinating repairs as needed.
- Maintain detailed production records and shift reports.
- Adhere to safety regulations, 5S, and housekeeping standards.
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to improve process efficiency.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in laser cutting or CNC operations.
- Proficient in reading engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Familiar with CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
- Knowledge of materials including metal, acrylic, and wood.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced production environment.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
