APAC Law Corporation, a reputable law firm based in the heart of Toa Payoh, Central Region, is seeking dedicated and motivated Legal Associates (Conveyancing) to join our expanding conveyancing team. We welcome qualified solicitors with 1 to 3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE), including those who may not have prior conveyancing experience — comprehensive training will be provided to the right candidates.
As a Legal Associate, you will work in a collaborative and supportive environment, handling a variety of conveyancing matters for both residential and commercial properties. Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end conveyancing transactions for residential and commercial properties, including sales, purchases, refinancing, and sub-sales.
- Draft and review sale and purchase agreements, options, and ancillary documents.
- Conduct due diligence and title searches, and advise clients on property-related legal issues.
- Liaise with clients, financial institutions, real estate agents, and government authorities such as the Singapore Land Authority (SLA).
- Manage CPF Board submissions and stamp duty payments.
- Attend to completions, including electronic lodgements and physical handovers.
- Assist in the preparation of legal opinions and correspondence.
- Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Qualified solicitor in Singapore with a valid practising certificate.
- 1 to 3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
- Prior conveyancing experience is advantageous but not mandatory — training provided.
- Strong drafting, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
- Client-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software is preferred.
