Responsibilities
- Draft, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings with high accuracy.
- Manage lawyer calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate court hearings or client meetings.
- Maintain and organize physical and digital filing systems, ensuring all records are up-to-date and compliant.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, serving as a primary point of contact for clients and external partners.
- Prepare billing statements and assist with basic financial tracking and expense reports.
- Assist in legal research and gathering necessary documents for ongoing cases.
- Ensure the office environment remains professional and operational by managing supplies and equipment maintenance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Legal Management, Office Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Legal Secretary or Administrative Assistant is highly preferred.
- Exceptional proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document management software.
- Strong command of both written and spoken English and Filipino.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality regarding sensitive legal information.
- Professional attitude and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and high-profile clients.
