Responsibilities
- Review and verify mortgage application documents for accuracy and compliance with Australian lending policies.
- Communicate effectively with brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders to resolve documentation discrepancies.
- Process and lodge mortgage applications into the CRM system with high attention to detail.
- Conduct thorough quality checks on loan files before final submission to lenders.
- Assist in managing the loan pipeline to ensure all milestones are met within the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Provide regular progress updates to relevant parties regarding loan status and pending requirements.
- Stay updated with the latest changes in Australian financial regulations and lending guidelines.
Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a Loan Processor, Lending Assistant, or similar role in the Australian Mortgage industry.
- In-depth understanding of the end-to-end Australian mortgage loan lifecycle.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software usage.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong analytical mindset with a keen eye for identifying errors or inconsistencies in financial data.
- Ability to work full-time on a consistent dayshift schedule in BGC.
