Palawan Innovation Studios is seeking a dedicated Lifeguard to join our safety-focused team on the stunning Southern Islands of the Central Region. In this role, you will oversee all pool and water-area safety, monitor swimmer behavior, and ensure a secure environment for guests and staff alike. The ideal candidate combines physical fitness with exceptional vigilance, clear communication, and a customer-first mindset.
As a Lifeguard you will actively patrol designated water zones, enforce rules, and respond promptly to emergencies. You will maintain water quality and equipment readiness, conduct safety briefings, and collaborate with resort operations to ensure a smooth and safe guest experience. Your vigilance will help prevent accidents and ensure that every guest enjoys a worry-free visit.

Responsibilities
- Monitor pool, beach, and water-area safety to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Perform water rescues and provide first aid/CPR when necessary, following established protocols.
- Inspect and maintain lifeguard equipment, rescue aids, and safety signage.
- Enforce facility rules and communicate safety guidelines to guests and staff.
- Respond to emergencies, coordinate with security and medical teams, and document incidents.
- Conduct regular safety drills and participate in ongoing training on water rescue techniques.
- Offer outstanding customer service by assisting guests with safety information and pool etiquette.
Qualifications
- Valid lifeguard certification from a recognized authority or equivalent.
- Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification.
- Proven lifeguarding experience in resort, hotel, or high-traffic pool/beach settings.
- Strong swimming ability and physical fitness; capable of performing rescues.
- Excellent observation, decision-making, and communication skills; ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Customer-service orientation and teamwork; ability to work flexible shifts.
- Knowledge of water safety protocols, rescue equipment, and incident reporting.
