Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the production line to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Monitor product quality at every stage, ensuring compliance with company specifications and industry standards.
  • Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free workplace.
  • Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, equipment issues, or process inefficiencies promptly.
  • Train, guide, and motivate team members to achieve individual and collective performance goals.
  • Maintain accurate production records, including output, downtime, and quality reports.
  • Conduct regular line inspections and coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive upkeep.
  • Communicate shift handovers effectively and report any abnormalities to the Production Supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Minimum SPM / STPM or equivalent; a diploma in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field is highly advantageous.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control principles, and workplace safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage a diverse team.
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
  • Basic computer literacy for data entry and reporting.
  • Willingness to work shift rotations and overtime when required.
