Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the production line to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Monitor product quality at every stage, ensuring compliance with company specifications and industry standards.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free workplace.
- Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, equipment issues, or process inefficiencies promptly.
- Train, guide, and motivate team members to achieve individual and collective performance goals.
- Maintain accurate production records, including output, downtime, and quality reports.
- Conduct regular line inspections and coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive upkeep.
- Communicate shift handovers effectively and report any abnormalities to the Production Supervisor.
Qualifications
- Minimum SPM / STPM or equivalent; a diploma in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field is highly advantageous.
- At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control principles, and workplace safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage a diverse team.
- Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and reporting.
- Willingness to work shift rotations and overtime when required.
