As a Loan Associate, you will be responsible for managing relationships, servicing accounts, and supporting portfolio performance. You will collaborate with internal teams to verify information, monitor delinquencies, and ensure compliance with loan policies. You will maintain accurate data in the core banking system and provide timely updates to borrowers and supervisors.
We are looking for customer-focused professionals who can communicate clearly in Filipino and English, handle inquiries with tact, and stay organized in a fast-paced banking environment. Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with borrowers and internal stakeholders to ensure high-quality loan portfolios.
- Process loan applications, verify documents, and ensure accuracy of all information in the core banking system.
- Provide proactive account servicing, including payment reminders, status updates, and inquiries handling.
- Monitor portfolio performance, identify delinquencies early, and coordinate with collections and risk teams as needed.
- Educate customers on loan products, terms, and repayment options; identify cross-sell opportunities aligned with customer needs.
- Ensure compliance with banking policies and regulatory requirements; maintain documented records and audit trails.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues and improve service delivery.
- Prepare regular reports on portfolio health, performance metrics, and risk indicators for management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field.
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills in English and Filipino.
- Solid understanding of loan products, underwriting basics, and credit policies.
- Attention to detail, data accuracy, and strong numerical aptitude.
- Proficiency with MS Office and familiarity with banking software or CRM systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to work in Las Piñas City and adapt to flexible scheduling as needed.
