Responsibilities
- Serve as the key point of contact for material control concerning new orders and change requests.
- Execute precise material requirement planning (MRP) to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to guarantee timely material fulfillment.
- Monitor and manage inventory flow to prevent operational bottlenecks.
- Prepare regular logistical reports and performance metrics for management review.
- Collaborate with production teams to align material availability with manufacturing schedules.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in logistics, warehouse management, or production planning.
- Strong proficiency in ERP software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; ability to communicate in Mandarin is an added advantage.
