Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end documentation process for export shipments, specifically focusing on Letter of Credit (LC) requirements.
- Liaise with banks, freight forwarders, and overseas customers to ensure smooth processing of LC applications and amendments.
- Prepare and verify critical shipping documents including Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, and Certificates of Origin.
- Coordinate with internal departments to track production schedules and ensure on-time delivery against customer orders.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and company standard operating procedures.
- Resolve any shipping discrepancies or documentation errors to minimize delays and bank charges.
- Maintain accurate logs and filing systems for all shipment-related records for audit purposes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or export documentation.
- Proven expertise in handling Letter of Credit (LC) documents and trade finance processes.
- Strong understanding of Incoterms 2020 and international shipping documentation standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with external stakeholders.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and experience with ERP/Logistics Management software.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to handle high-pressure situations and meet tight deadlines.
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related fields.
