Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic logistics plans to ensure the timely and cost-effective distribution of goods.
- Manage end-to-end warehouse operations, including inventory control, storage optimization, and space management.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a logistics team to foster a culture of safety, productivity, and professional growth.
- Optimize transportation routes and carrier performance to ensure safe and timely delivery to customers.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for operational improvement.
- Ensure full compliance with local transportation regulations, safety standards, and hazardous material protocols.
- Coordinate closely with procurement and production teams to synchronize supply chain activities.
- Manage logistics budgets, vendor contracts, and shipping costs to ensure financial efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in logistics or warehouse management, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
- Strong proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Deep understanding of supply chain logistics, inventory management, and distribution networks.
- Excellent leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and motivate diverse teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills for vendor and stakeholder management.
