You will be responsible for receiving customer orders, inputting them into the warehouse management system, and liaising with freight forwarders and carriers to secure competitive quotations. Responsibilities
- Receive and process customer orders accurately, ensuring timely entry into the warehouse management system.
- Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders, and shipping agents to obtain quotations and arrange shipments.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure inventory availability and smooth order fulfilment.
- Monitor shipment schedules, track deliveries, and proactively update internal stakeholders on status.
- Handle documentation such as delivery orders, packing lists, and invoices for international and domestic shipments.
- Resolve logistics-related issues including delays, discrepancies, and customer queries in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update logistics databases, reports, and records for performance tracking.
Qualifications
- Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent; Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration is an advantage.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in logistics, warehousing, or order processing.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; ability to converse in Mandarin is a plus for liaising with Mandarin-speaking partners.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organisational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Singapore’s import/export regulations and Incoterms is preferred.
- Immediate availability or short notice period is an advantage.
