Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end bulk product distribution and logistics planning.
- Analyze demand forecasts to optimize delivery schedules and resource allocation.
- Design and implement efficient delivery route planning to reduce transit times and operational costs.
- Coordinate daily schedules for drivers and maintenance of logistics equipment.
- Monitor transport performance metrics (KPIs) to ensure high service standards and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with internal departments to address supply chain bottlenecks and demand fluctuations.
- Maintain strict compliance with safety, environmental, and transportation regulations.
- Provide regular reporting on logistics operational efficiency and inventory movement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in logistics, transport planning, or supply chain coordination.
- Strong proficiency in logistics software, ERP systems (e.g., SAP), and MS Office (especially Excel).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to manage time-sensitive logistics challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate effectively with transport vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of local transportation safety standards and regulations in Malaysia.
- High analytical capability and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
