Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee daily delivery schedules to ensure timely arrival of goods at customer sites.
- Liaise with third-party logistics providers and internal fleet drivers to optimize route planning and fuel efficiency.
- Monitor shipment progress and proactively communicate any potential delays to the sales and customer service teams.
- Prepare and verify critical logistics documentation, including Delivery Orders (DO), Packing Lists, and custom clearances where applicable.
- Analyze logistics data to identify bottlenecks and implement cost-saving measures in the transport process.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance schedules and driver performance logs.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and transport laws within the Malaysian logistics framework.
Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in logistics coordination or transport management.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; ability to speak Mandarin is an added advantage.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight delivery deadlines in a high-volume environment.
- A proactive attitude with a focus on continuous process improvement.
