Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily import and export shipments to ensure timely delivery and compliance with international trade regulations.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers to resolve logistical bottlenecks effectively.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and shipment documentation within our ERP system.
  • Monitor transit status and provide proactive updates to internal stakeholders regarding potential delays.
  • Analyze logistics performance metrics to identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements.
  • Oversee warehouse movement and ensure that goods are processed in accordance with safety and quality standards.
  • Prepare and review shipping documents, including packing lists, commercial invoices, and delivery orders.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 2-3 years of proven experience in logistics operations or supply chain coordination, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Strong understanding of import/export procedures, customs documentation, and Incoterms.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin proficiency is considered an advantage.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to multitask in a high-pressure, fast-paced setting.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail.
