As the Logistics / Supply Chain Coordinator, you will manage end-to-end supply chain activities for high purchase order volumes, ensuring accurate documentation, on-time deliveries, and optimal inventory levels. You will partner with production planning, procurement, warehousing, and logistics vendors to streamline processes, reduce lead times, and improve service levels.
In this role, you will coordinate cross-functional tasks, from inbound inbound shipments to outbound distribution, while maintaining strict compliance with quality and safety standards. You will analyze data, forecast needs, and collaborate with suppliers to secure reliable material flow that supports production schedules and customer commitments.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end logistics for high-volume purchase orders from manufacturing to customers, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Manage purchase orders, supplier communications, and documentation to maintain data integrity and compliance.
- Collaborate with production planning, warehousing, and transport teams to optimize inventory levels and reduce lead times.
- Track performance metrics (on-time delivery, order cycle time, inventory accuracy) and report to stakeholders.
- Process import/export paperwork and coordinate with customs when required to ensure smooth cross-border shipments.
- Identify inefficiencies and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement and logistics processes.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal customers to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
- Support demand forecasting and capacity planning for manufacturing requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, operations management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a logistics coordinator or similar role in a manufacturing or high purchase order environment.
- Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory control, and ERP systems (eg, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills; able to manage vendor relationships effectively.
- Analytical mindset with data-driven approach to forecasting and problem-solving.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic setting.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Familiarity with import/export compliance and shipping documentation is a plus.
