Responsibilities
- Assist the lorry driver in the loading and unloading of goods with high precision and care.
- Ensure all cargo is properly arranged and secured within the lorry to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lorry cabin and cargo area at all times.
- Verify delivery documents and manifests to ensure accurate shipment tracking.
- Strictly adhere to all road safety regulations and company workplace safety protocols.
- Provide navigational assistance to the driver when necessary to ensure efficient route management.
- Report any issues, discrepancies, or maintenance concerns regarding the vehicle or cargo immediately to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Open to candidates who are physically fit and capable of handling manual labor tasks.
- Possess a disciplined attitude toward time management and punctuality.
- Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions from the driver or operations manager.
- Prior experience in a similar role within the transport, logistics, or warehousing industry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia (or English/local dialects).
- Willingness to work flexible hours as required by logistics schedules.
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and integrity in handling company assets.
