Responsibilities
- Coordinate, monitor, and oversee all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) and Plumbing works to ensure adherence to project specifications, drawings, and schedules.
- Liaise effectively with consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to facilitate smooth workflow and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure installations comply with relevant codes, safety standards, and project requirements.
- Review and interpret M&E and Plumbing drawings, specifications, and technical submissions, providing feedback and seeking clarifications as needed.
- Manage and track project progress, identifying potential delays and implementing corrective actions to maintain project timelines.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including progress reports, inspection records, and as-built drawings.
- Assist in the testing and commissioning of M&E and Plumbing systems, ensuring proper functionality and handover.
- Implement and enforce workplace safety and health (WSH) regulations related to M&E and Plumbing works on site.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in M&E and Plumbing coordination within the construction industry in Singapore.
- Strong knowledge of M&E and Plumbing systems, including HVAC, fire protection, sanitary, and water supply systems.
- Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards (e.g., BCA, SCDF, PUB requirements).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced project environment.
- Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite; BIM experience is a plus.
