As an M&E Quality Surveyor, you will be responsible for measuring, evaluating, and controlling costs across M&E disciplines, preparing cost plans, BOQs, and variation assessments, and ensuring alignment with contract terms and project milestones. You will liaise with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to support timely delivery and quality outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage BOQs, cost plans, and budget control for M&E works
- Undertake measurement and valuation of variations and change orders
- Manage tender documentation, procurement, and contract administration for M&E packages
- Monitor subcontractor performance, progress claims, and payments
- Ensure compliance with design specifications, codes, and quality standards
- Conduct site inspections and quality audits; identify non‑conformances and recommend corrective actions
- Collaborate with project teams to resolve commercial and technical issues; provide timely reporting to stakeholders
- Review drawings, M&E installations, and ensure value engineering opportunities
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in M&E quantity surveying or QA/QC for construction projects
- Strong knowledge of M&E systems and installation standards
- Proficiency in measurement software, Excel, and BOQ preparation
- Familiarity with Singapore procurement and contract administration practices
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in cross‑functional teams; site‑based readiness
- Professional certification in Quantity Surveying or a related field is a plus
