- Set up and operate CNC machinery according to blueprints and technical drawings.
- Conduct regular machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor the production process to ensure all parts meet quality standards and tolerances.
- Perform daily inspections and document machine status logs.
- Adhere strictly to workplace safety regulations and operational procedures.
- Interpret technical instructions and translate them into precise machine operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station to maximize productivity.
- Coordinate with team members to meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Vocational Training in Machine Shop Technology or related field.
- Proven experience operating CNC machines (lathes, mills, or routers).
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Solid understanding of safety protocols and manufacturing best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials as required.
- Ability to work full-time hours, including potential shift work if needed.
