Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain CNC and manual machining equipment to produce high-precision components.
- Interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine machining requirements.
- Perform regular tool changes, offsets, and adjustments to ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Conduct thorough quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Maintain a clean and safe workstation in compliance with ISO and workplace safety standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot technical issues and optimize manufacturing processes.
- Document daily production activities and report any equipment malfunctions to maintenance staff.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-4 years of professional experience as a Machinist or CNC Operator.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical blueprints and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Hands-on experience with CNC milling and turning centers.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform basic machine troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with standard quality control procedures and precision measurement tools.
- Ability to work 1st shift hours and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
- Technical certification or vocational training in Machining/Mechanical Engineering is highly preferred.
