We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Maintenance Engineer to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and safety of our production equipment and facilities. In this critical role, you will drive the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) framework, plan and schedule preventive maintenance, and manage the yearly maintenance budget. Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and oversee all equipment maintenance activities based on Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles.
- Prepare and manage the annual maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
- Monitor equipment performance and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize unplanned downtime.
- Ensure hygienic conditions and compliance with sanitation standards in all production and storage areas.
- Coordinate with production teams to schedule maintenance windows without disrupting operations.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, spare parts inventory, and technical documentation.
- Lead root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
- Supervise and train maintenance technicians to enhance team skills and safety awareness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proven experience in budgeting, planning, and scheduling maintenance activities.
- Familiarity with hygiene and sanitation standards applicable to food, pharmaceutical, or similar industries.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
