Are you a high-potential graduate looking to launch your career with a leader in the manufacturing industry? Clay Industries is currently seeking a driven and ambitious Management Trainee to join our team in Ayer Hitam, Johor.

As a Management Trainee, you will undergo an intensive, hands-on development program designed to bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world industrial operations. You will rotate through key departments, gaining invaluable exposure to production workflows, supply chain logistics, quality control, and personnel management. This is a unique opportunity to learn from industry experts, solve complex operational challenges, and fast-track your path to a leadership role within our growing organization.

We are looking for individuals who possess a 'can-do' attitude, exceptional analytical skills, and a genuine passion for the manufacturing sector. If you are ready to build a solid professional foundation and contribute to the success of a dynamic company, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in cross-functional rotations to understand end-to-end manufacturing and logistics operations.
  • Assist department managers in daily operational tasks, project monitoring, and workflow optimization.
  • Collect, analyze, and report on production data to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to resolve process bottlenecks and ensure strict adherence to quality standards.
  • Support the implementation of new company-wide initiatives and continuous improvement projects (Kaizen/Lean).
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management to provide insights on operational performance.
  • Maintain effective communication across production shifts to ensure operational alignment and safety compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply; prior internship experience in manufacturing is a strong advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in high-pressure environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead small teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work effectively in a factory environment and adapt to different shift patterns as required.
  • Highly motivated, eager to learn, and capable of working independently or as part of a collaborative team.
