Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end technical services operations for MGAs, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality delivery.
- Monitor and enforce strict adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk management standards.
- Analyze technical data and performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process optimization.
- Liaise directly with MGAs to provide expert technical support, resolve complex queries, and foster strong business relationships.
- Lead and mentor a team of technical specialists, providing guidance on professional development and operational best practices.
- Ensure the accurate and timely administration of policies, documentation, and claims-related technical processes.
- Drive initiatives to streamline workflows and enhance overall operational efficiency within the MGA ecosystem.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Insurance, or a related field of study.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in technical services, underwriting support, or MGA management within the insurance industry.
- Strong working knowledge of insurance principles, regulatory frameworks (e.g., MAS guidelines), and risk management practices in Singapore.
- Proven ability to analyze complex data sets and present actionable insights to senior stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
- Professional certifications such as CII, CERA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and drive results in a dynamic environment.
