Responsibilities
- Oversee technical service operations for Managing General Agents (MGAs) to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency
- Develop and implement risk management frameworks and mitigation strategies for MGA-related business activities
- Lead and mentor technical service teams, fostering high-performance standards and professional development
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to update policies and ensure adherence to best practices
- Optimize service delivery processes through data-driven analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and finance departments to resolve technical complexities
- Prepare comprehensive reports on technical service performance and recommend strategic enhancements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in insurance technical services with MGA exposure
- Proven track record in team leadership and operational management within financial services
- Deep knowledge of insurance regulations, compliance standards, and risk management principles
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data and drive strategic decisions
- Excellent communication skills with ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Professional certifications such as Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) or FRM designation highly desirable
