YSQ International Pte Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager, Brewing Lab QA to lead our quality assurance operations in our brewing laboratory. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a passion for beer and beverage manufacturing to join a dynamic team in Port Klang, Selangor.
As the Brewing Lab QA Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of product quality, safety, and consistency throughout our brewing operations. You will oversee the quality control processes, coordinate with production teams, and implement best practices to maintain our reputation for excellence in the beverage industry.
This role offers a competitive salary ranging from RM 8,500 to RM 10,000 per month, along with opportunities for professional growth within a leading manufacturing organization.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all quality assurance activities within the brewing laboratory, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols for beer production processes
- Lead and mentor a team of QA technicians and laboratory staff to maintain optimal performance
- Conduct regular testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
- Collaborate with production and operations teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment calibration and safety standards
- Prepare quality reports, documentation, and compliance records for management review
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in brewing quality assurance
Qualifications
- Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related field preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance within food, beverage, or brewing industry
- Hands-on experience with beer production processes and quality testing methodologies
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, HACCP, and quality management systems
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Proficiency in laboratory equipment operation and maintenance
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills in English; Bahasa Malaysia is advantageous
