Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive growth strategies to expand our commercial insurance portfolio.
- Manage and cultivate long-term relationships with key corporate clients and stakeholders.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team to exceed operational KPIs.
- Ensure full adherence to regulatory requirements and internal compliance policies.
- Collaborate with underwriters to design and negotiate bespoke insurance solutions.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
- Provide technical guidance on complex claims and policy structures to team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in the general insurance industry, preferably within a brokerage environment.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and achieving sales targets.
- Deep understanding of commercial insurance products, underwriting principles, and market practices.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Relevant professional insurance qualifications (e.g., MII, CII, or equivalent) are highly preferred.
