Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to meet annual and long-term revenue targets for the Development Fund.
- Cultivate, steward, and manage a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, corporate foundations, and community partners.
- Plan and execute impactful fundraising events, donor appreciation galas, and capital campaigns.
- Prepare compelling grant proposals, sponsorship decks, and donor communications to secure major gifts.
- Monitor fundraising performance metrics, prepare detailed reports for senior management, and recommend data-driven improvements.
- Collaborate with hospital departments to align funding priorities with clinical and research needs.
- Supervise a team of development officers, providing mentorship and ensuring operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards related to charitable fundraising.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in fundraising, development, or partnership management, preferably in a healthcare or non-profit setting.
- Demonstrated success in securing major gifts (S$100k+) and managing donor relations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; fluency in Mandarin or other local dialects is a strong plus.
- Strong project management abilities with the capacity to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Raiser’s Edge) and data analytics tools.
- Strategic thinker with a collaborative mindset and a passion for healthcare philanthropy.
- Relevant certification in fundraising (e.g., CFRE) is highly desirable.
