Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee the implementation of enterprise-wide risk management frameworks for non-hospital healthcare operations.
  • Lead initiatives to ensure full compliance with international and national healthcare accreditation standards (e.g., MSQH, JCI).
  • Conduct regular quality audits and clinical safety assessments to identify operational gaps and implement corrective actions.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external quality audits, preparing detailed reports for senior management.
  • Establish robust clinical governance processes to monitor and reduce patient safety incidents across the group.
  • Train and mentor staff on quality standards, safety protocols, and risk mitigation best practices.
  • Analyze quality data and KPIs to drive process improvements and enhance patient experience outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Nursing, Quality Assurance, or a related field; a Master’s degree is highly preferred.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in healthcare quality, clinical risk management, or regulatory compliance.
  • Deep understanding of accreditation standards and healthcare legislative requirements in Malaysia.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Professional certification in Quality Management (e.g., Six Sigma, CPHQ) is a distinct advantage.
