Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee the implementation of enterprise-wide risk management frameworks for non-hospital healthcare operations.
- Lead initiatives to ensure full compliance with international and national healthcare accreditation standards (e.g., MSQH, JCI).
- Conduct regular quality audits and clinical safety assessments to identify operational gaps and implement corrective actions.
- Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external quality audits, preparing detailed reports for senior management.
- Establish robust clinical governance processes to monitor and reduce patient safety incidents across the group.
- Train and mentor staff on quality standards, safety protocols, and risk mitigation best practices.
- Analyze quality data and KPIs to drive process improvements and enhance patient experience outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Nursing, Quality Assurance, or a related field; a Master’s degree is highly preferred.
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in healthcare quality, clinical risk management, or regulatory compliance.
- Deep understanding of accreditation standards and healthcare legislative requirements in Malaysia.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable strategies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Professional certification in Quality Management (e.g., Six Sigma, CPHQ) is a distinct advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive cultural change.
