Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end real estate acquisition process including site selection, lease negotiations, and contract management for warehouses and offices.
- Oversee construction and renovation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.
- Manage day-to-day facility operations including maintenance, security, cleaning, and utilities for all company premises.
- Develop and implement facility management policies, standard operating procedures, and best practices.
- Monitor and optimize facility costs, identifying opportunities for savings and efficiency improvements.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all properties.
- Coordinate with landlords, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to resolve facility-related issues promptly.
- Prepare regular reports on facility performance, budgets, and project status for senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in real estate management, facility management, or construction project management.
- Demonstrated track record of managing multiple projects and vendors simultaneously.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and leasing practices in Malaysia.
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel to various sites within Klang Valley as needed.
- A proactive, resourceful mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
