Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive partnership strategies to expand the National Robotic Programme's impact and reach.
- Identify, cultivate, and manage high-value relationships with key stakeholders, including industry leaders, research institutions, and government bodies.
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of strategic collaborations, from initial engagement and negotiation to project execution and delivery.
- Lead negotiations and drive business development initiatives within the robotics, automation, and AI sectors.
- Monitor global market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making and program direction.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations to senior management detailing partnership performance, KPIs, and future opportunities.
- Represent the organisation at industry conferences, networking events, and external engagements to enhance A*STAR's brand visibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related technical field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in partnership management, business development, or project management within the technology or research sector.
- Proven track record of successfully managing strategic partnerships and stakeholder relationships.
- Strong understanding of the robotics, automation, and AI landscape is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented mindset.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
