We are currently seeking a visionary and strategic Manager, Sales & Marketing to lead our commercial initiatives and drive sustainable growth across East Malaysia. In this key leadership position, you will be responsible for architecting and executing comprehensive sales strategies that align with business objectives. Your role will involve overseeing high-impact marketing campaigns, managing key client relationships, and leading a talented team of sales professionals. You will analyze market trends to identify new opportunities, collaborate closely with technical departments to ensure customer satisfaction, and ensure our brand remains a market leader in the heavy machinery sector.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans and marketing roadmaps to achieve revenue targets and market share goals.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the performance of the sales and marketing team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the planning and execution of marketing initiatives, including digital marketing, trade shows, and brand positioning campaigns.
- Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners in the construction and mining industries.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and optimize sales processes.
- Collaborate with product management and technical teams to ensure marketing materials accurately reflect product capabilities and specifications.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports for executive leadership to drive decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record of at least 5-7 years in a managerial role within the sales or heavy equipment industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, direct, and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- In-depth knowledge of marketing principles, digital media strategies, and CRM systems.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
