Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement governance frameworks for Auto Finance operations, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Monitor and report on risk indicators, control effectiveness, BCM readiness, and compliance status to senior management and board committees.
  • Oversee BCM program, business impact analyses, incident response planning, disaster recovery, and continuity testing for Auto Finance processes.
  • Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Audit, and Risk Management to ensure timely regulatory reporting, policy updates, and remediation of issues.
  • Manage incident and issue tracking, root cause analysis, remediation plans, and closure follow-ups.
  • Provide operational support to the Auto Finance function, including process optimization, data quality, and stakeholder communications.
  • Lead governance forums, committee meetings, and dashboards; prepare management reporting packs.
  • Ensure third-party and vendor risk management for Auto Finance operations and related outsourcing activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Banking, Law, or related field; professional qualifications (CFA, FRM, or equivalent) preferred.
  • 6-10 years of experience in banking, auto finance, risk management, governance, or compliance; experience in Malaysia/Southeast Asia is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of banking regulations (BNM, AML/CFT, IFRS 9) and risk management frameworks (COSO, ISO 31000).
  • Experience with BCM, crisis management, incident response, governance reporting, and risk control self-assessment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; ability to influence at senior levels.
  • Analytical mindset with data-driven approach; proficiency in MS Excel, data analytics, and reporting tools; familiarity with core banking systems is advantageous.
  • Detail-oriented with strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across functions and deliver under tight deadlines.
