Job Description
Join DHL Supply Chain as the Manager, Warehouse Operations East in Changi, East Region. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for delivering safe, accurate and timely warehouse performance within a dynamic global logistics network.
Based at the East Singapore facility, you will oversee inbound reception, storage, order picking, packing and outbound shipments, driving optimal space utilization and labor efficiency. You will lead a team of supervisors and frontline staff, set performance expectations, coach for development, and manage schedules to meet customer demand. You will collaborate with Transportation, Customer Service and Inventory Control teams to optimize load planning, cycle counts and inventory accuracy. You will monitor key metrics such as on-time shipments, inventory accuracy, order cycle time and safety performance, and implement data-driven improvements.

Responsibilities
- Lead daily warehouse operations including inbound, storage, picking, packing and outbound activities to meet service levels.
- Direct and develop a team of supervisors and frontline staff; set objectives, coach for performance, and manage scheduling to meet demand.
- Ensure safety, health and environmental standards; conduct risk assessments and enforce compliance with DHL policies and local regulations.
- Monitor KPIs such as on-time shipments, inventory accuracy, order cycle time and labor productivity; implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with Transportation, Customer Service and Inventory Control to optimize load planning and cross-functional processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives including layout optimization, process standardization, WMS optimization and Lean projects to reduce costs and increase accuracy.
- Manage warehouse budget, control expenses, and safeguard assets; oversee vendor relationships and contract adherence as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or related field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of warehouse operations experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory/managerial role in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems; SAP or Oracle experience preferred.
- Proven leadership with ability to develop people and drive change; excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- Experience with process improvement, Lean or Six Sigma principles and a track record of safety compliance and quality delivery.
- Data-driven with strong analytical skills and budget management experience; proficiency with data tools and reporting.
- Willingness to work in Singapore and support shift operations as required.
