Responsibilities
- Directly supervise and coordinate production activities across multiple assembly lines during assigned 12-hour shifts to meet daily output, quality, and efficiency targets.
- Monitor production processes, perform regular inspections, and enforce strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing problems, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions to minimize downtime.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Manage and develop a team of production operators and technicians, including conducting performance reviews, training, and shift handovers.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to investigate non-conformances, implement process changes, and maintain ISO standards.
- Prepare and present daily production reports, including yield, downtime, and manpower utilization, to the Plant Manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering or production supervisory role within a high-volume environment (Semiconductor, Electronics, or MedTech preferred).
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt is a plus).
- Proven experience in leading, motivating, and managing a diverse team of production workers.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts (including nights, weekends, and public holidays) and in a cleanroom environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
