Responsibilities

  • Set up, calibrate, and operate production equipment on the assembly line, ensuring proper settings and cycle readiness.
  • Assemble product components according to engineering drawings, BOMs, and SOPs, verifying tolerances and fit.
  • Perform in-process quality checks using standard measurement tools and document results.
  • Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot minor issues to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation in compliance with 5S and safety protocols.
  • Assist with line changeovers, material handling, and inventory control to support continuous production.
  • Record production data, escalate anomalies, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Certificate in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in electronics assembly or a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, SOPs, and work instructions.
  • Basic measurement skills with tools like calipers, micrometers, and fixtures.
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork; good communication skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift moderate weights.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and a willingness to follow 5S and quality system requirements.
