Job Description
Boston Scientific is seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to join our production team in Penang. In this role, you will be part of a core team responsible for responding to equipment, yield, and process-related issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions to eliminate repeat incidents. You will work closely with engineering and operations to ensure the highest standards of product quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Key responsibilities include monitoring production processes, performing routine equipment maintenance, documenting actions in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities
- Respond to equipment, yield, and process-related issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor production processes and ensure adherence to GMP standards.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Document actions, nonāconformance reports, and process changes in the quality management system.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot root causes and improve yields.
- Support continuous improvement projects, training, and onboarding of operators.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
- 1ā3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong knowledge of equipment troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and quality systems.
- Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and basic data analysis.
- Excellent problemāsolving, communication, and teamwork skills.
