PT Halocoko Ice Cream Indonesia is a rapidly growing ice cream manufacturer committed to delivering delightful frozen treats to the Indonesian market. We are currently looking for a passionate and results-driven Market Development Supervisor who is fluent in Mandarin to spearhead our expansion initiatives in Pekalongan and the surrounding Central Java region.
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong distributor networks, and driving sales growth. You will collaborate closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies that resonate with local consumers and align with our brand values.
You will conduct regular market research, monitor competitor activities, and analyze consumer insights to recommend product positioning, pricing, and promotional activities. Your ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin and Indonesian will be crucial in negotiating with partners, presenting proposals to senior stakeholders, and fostering long-term relationships.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement market development plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share in the assigned region.
- Identify, onboard, and manage new distributors, retailers, and key accounts to grow the distribution network.
- Conduct market research and analyze consumer trends to provide actionable insights for product positioning and marketing campaigns.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and promotional tactics to recommend competitive responses.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional events, product launches, and in‑store sampling activities.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports, including sales forecasts and market feedback, and present them to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and local regulations in all business activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Mandatory proficiency in Mandarin (speaking, listening, reading, and writing) – professional working level required.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and draw strategic conclusions.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, capable of engaging diverse stakeholders.
- Self‑motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Willingness to travel within the Pekalongan and broader Jawa Tengah region as needed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic data analysis tools.
