In this role, you will be the backbone of our financial operations, ensuring that healthcare claims are processed accurately and efficiently to maximize reimbursement rates.
As a Medical Biller, you will navigate complex billing systems, communicate with insurance providers, and resolve claim denials. Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end medical billing process for US-based healthcare providers.
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits prior to services being rendered.
- Prepare and submit accurate claims to insurance carriers through electronic billing systems.
- Monitor accounts receivable and perform systematic follow-ups on unpaid or denied claims.
- Review Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and remittance advice to identify and rectify billing discrepancies.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations at all times.
- Generate and analyze weekly billing reports to identify trends in claim denials and suggest process improvements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Biller or Revenue Cycle Specialist for US Healthcare accounts.
- Proficient in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding standards.
- Strong working knowledge of US insurance payer types (Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial insurance).
- Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in an onsite office environment in Quezon City.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills for professional interaction.
- Proficiency in medical billing software (e.g., Epic, Kareo, NextGen, or similar) and MS Excel.
