Responsibilities
- Review and submit clean claims to insurance carriers through clearinghouses or direct portals.
- Perform comprehensive follow-ups on unpaid or denied claims to identify and resolve root causes.
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and coverage benefits prior to service delivery.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Communicate professionally with insurance representatives to facilitate claim processing and appeals.
- Analyze aging reports to ensure timely resolution of accounts receivable.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure accurate medical coding and documentation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Medical Biller or similar role handling US-based accounts.
- Solid understanding of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
- Proficiency in working with electronic health record (EHR) and billing software.
- Strong knowledge of US healthcare insurance plans (Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and analytical thinking.
- Ability to work onsite in Clark Freeport Zone on a full-time basis.
