Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and cultivate new business opportunities within public and private hospitals across the region.
- Conduct professional product presentations and clinical demonstrations of electrosurgery and diagnostic equipment to surgeons and specialists.
- Provide on-site clinical support and technical assistance during surgical procedures to ensure optimal device performance and surgeon confidence.
- Develop and maintain long-term strategic partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and hospital procurement departments.
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and regional growth objectives through disciplined territory management.
- Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and clinical advancements to provide strategic feedback to management.
- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, from lead generation and quotation to equipment installation and post-sales support.
- Coordinate with the logistics and technical teams to ensure seamless delivery and setup of medical equipment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Bio-Medical Engineering, Life Sciences, Nursing, or a related clinical field.
- At least 2-3 years of proven experience in medical device sales, specifically within the surgical or Operating Theater (OT) environment.
- Strong technical proficiency in electrosurgical units, diagnostic tools, or similar high-tech medical equipment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport with medical professionals and stakeholders.
- Strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken).
- Possess a valid driver’s license and own vehicle, with a willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
- Result-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and handle high-pressure environments.
