Join JCAP Constraction as a MEPF Quantity Surveyor and play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection (MEPF) projects in Metro Manila. You will support estimation, bid preparation, technical reviews, and cross-disciplinary coordination to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. This is a hands-on role for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment.
As a key member of our construction team, you will collaborate with engineers, project managers, and suppliers to develop accurate cost plans, prepare tender documents, and monitor cost performance throughout the project lifecycle. You will contribute to value engineering, risk assessment, and change management to safeguard profitability while meeting client expectations.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze Bills of Quantities (BoQ) for MEPF works, develop cost estimates, and compile tender submissions.
- Review drawings, specifications, and MEPF design changes to assess cost implications and risk.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure alignment of scope, budget, and schedule.
- Manage cost control activities, perform variance analysis, and implement value engineering opportunities.
- Prepare procurement schedules, assist in bid preparation, and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
- Support during bid presentations and negotiations with clients to secure favorable outcomes.
- Monitor cash flow, change orders, and ensure compliance with local codes and project deadlines.
- Maintain thorough documentation of all cost-related decisions and communications for audit readiness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field with MEPF knowledge.
- 3+ years of experience in MEPF quantity surveying or related construction roles.
- Strong understanding of MEPF systems, drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.
- Proficiency with cost estimation software, Excel, and takeoff tools; exposure to BIM is a plus.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
- Proven ability to collaborate with design teams, contractors, and suppliers.
- Knowledge of local regulations and standards in the Philippines.
