Ambition Group Singapore is currently partnering with an established foreign bank to appoint a high-performing Middle Office Operations Specialist for an initial 7-month contract. Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end trade lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of financial transactions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for front-office stakeholders, addressing inquiries regarding trade statuses and documentation.
- Perform daily reconciliation of accounts and resolve discrepancies to mitigate operational risk.
- Collaborate with internal departments, including Compliance, Legal, and Finance, to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and manage trade exceptions, escalating complex issues to senior management when necessary.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive reports for internal stakeholders and management review.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of operational workflows to increase efficiency and data integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience in Middle Office or Operations within the banking sector.
- Strong understanding of financial products (FX, Fixed Income, or Derivatives) and trade settlement processes.
- Proficiency in banking software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for identifying process improvements and risk factors.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle tight deadlines effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise across various levels of the organization.
