Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive research on market trends for mining and quarrying equipment.
- Monitor and report on competitor pricing, technical specifications, and distribution strategies.
- Evaluate the performance and reliability of various heavy equipment brands used in local quarry operations.
- Collect and synthesize data from site visits, interviews, and industry publications.
- Prepare detailed monthly market analysis reports to support executive decision-making.
- Identify emerging technologies and sustainable equipment options suitable for the Surigao mining landscape.
- Coordinate with procurement teams to provide data-driven insights for equipment acquisition.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in market research, data analysis, or the mining/resources sector.
- Strong understanding of mining machinery and heavy equipment terminology.
- Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a field-heavy environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Filipino.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to quarry sites as needed.
