Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough online and desk research to identify key end-users within the mining and quarrying sector.
- Gather and verify contact information and operational data for potential industry targets.
- Organize and maintain a clean, high-accuracy database for internal reporting.
- Draft detailed research reports based on collected data to support strategic decision-making.
- Identify emerging trends and shifts in the regional mining landscape.
- Coordinate with management to ensure data collection meets specific project requirements.
- Perform data validation and cleansing to ensure the highest quality of information for stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in market research, data analysis, or a similar investigative role.
- Strong understanding of the Mining, Resources, or Energy industries.
- Exceptional proficiency in MS Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data cleaning).
- Strong research skills with the ability to navigate public registries and industry directories.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets with high accuracy.
- Professional written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting project deadlines.
