Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to neonates, including assessment, monitoring, and intervention.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Monitor vital signs, fluid balance, and neurological status, promptly reporting any changes.
- Educate and support parents on infant care, feeding practices, and developmental milestones.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control policies and safety standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff training sessions.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse with active practicing certificate from the Singapore Nursing Board.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in neonatal, pediatric, or maternal-child nursing preferred.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Programme (NRP) certification.
- Strong knowledge of neonatal physiology, common pathologies, and evidence‑based care practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective family education and teamwork.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and lifelong learning.
- Proficiency with electronic medical record systems and standard office software.
