Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to neonates, including assessment, monitoring, and intervention.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
  • Monitor vital signs, fluid balance, and neurological status, promptly reporting any changes.
  • Educate and support parents on infant care, feeding practices, and developmental milestones.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records.
  • Ensure strict adherence to infection control policies and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff training sessions.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse with active practicing certificate from the Singapore Nursing Board.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in neonatal, pediatric, or maternal-child nursing preferred.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Programme (NRP) certification.
  • Strong knowledge of neonatal physiology, common pathologies, and evidence‑based care practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective family education and teamwork.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and lifelong learning.
