Wimmer Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and bilingual Network Administrator to join our dynamic team in Quezon City. As a key member of our IT infrastructure division, you will be responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and optimizing our network systems to ensure high availability and performance. Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network connectivity issues for Korean-speaking users and partners.
- Monitor network performance and ensure system availability, identifying bottlenecks or potential failures.
- Implement and maintain robust network security measures, including VPNs, ACLs, and regular firmware updates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy scalable network solutions.
- Document network infrastructure, configurations, and incident reports to ensure operational transparency.
- Assist in the migration and management of cloud-based network services and hybrid infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Professional proficiency in both English and Korean (Written and Spoken).
- Proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar infrastructure-focused role.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF).
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade networking equipment (Cisco, Juniper, or Fortinet).
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+) are highly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
