We are looking for a skilled Network Architect (ISP / Fiber Networks) to join our dynamic team in Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga. In this role you will lead the architecture and expansion of our ISP and fiber network infrastructure, ensuring scalable, reliable service delivery for a growing customer base.
You will be responsible for planning and implementing pointâofâpresence (POP) designs, optimizing BGP routing policies, and integrating cuttingâedge fiber optic technologies. Collaborating with crossâfunctional teams, you will develop network architectures that meet current and future demands, while maintaining strict quality and security standards. Your expertise will drive operational excellence, reduce latency, and enhance overall user experience.
Key duties include leading network capacity planning, performing detailed traffic modeling, evaluating new technologies such as DWDM and GPON, and ensuring seamless integration of fiber routes across the metro and longâhaul network. You will also be instrumental in defining network standards, drafting technical proposals, and mentoring junior engineers to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and implement ISP and fiberâoptic network architectures, including POP layout and routing strategies.
- Develop and optimise BGP routing policies to ensure high availability, redundancy, and performance across the network.
- Conduct capacity planning and traffic analysis to anticipate growth and scalability requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to deploy new services and infrastructure upgrades.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging fiber and networking technologies to improve service delivery.
- Create detailed technical documentation, network diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, security best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor junior network engineers and provide expert guidance on network design decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in ISP or telecom network design, preferably with focus on fiber and BGP.
- Proven expertise in BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and other IP routing protocols.
- Handsâon experience with fiberâoptic transmission technologies (DWDM, GPON, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of network architecture principles, capacity planning, and performance optimisation.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Excellent problemâsolving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
